The Warren Civic Theatre was started by Warren resident Greg Trzaskoma, in the summer of 1990 as
a children’s theatre workshop in the gym at Ridgewood Recreation Center with about a dozen children.
By 1994, the group grew to encompass about 60 members and they staged their
first Broadway style musical in the auditorium of the Warren Community Center.
Today the Warren Civic Theatre has over 3,000 participants, past and present.

OUR MISSION
The Warren Civic Theatre's goal is to produce, promote and
educate our community in all aspects of the theatre arts using
professional and amateur, local and national talent.
Additionally, we are committed to a policy of inclusion. As such, many of our productions
incorporate "open casting", where ANYONE who auditions for that show will be given a role.
