Please read the following carefully and completely as it will have lots of important information including dates and times. As well as helpful hints and tips that will keep everything running smoothly and efficiently and keep everyone safe and having a good time.
Theatre Lingo
Ushers, Concessionaires, Backstage Assistants Sign-up
USHERS and CONCESSIONS
Will be able to stand in the back of the theatre during the show. Ushers and Concessionaires do not need a ticket. Ages 14 and up. Civic Theatre shirts or nice casual attire.
BACKSTAGE ASSISTANTS
Will not be able to watch the show. Must help ALL cast members as assigned by Katy Pavlik and Stage Management. ONLY THOSE SIGNED UP TO VOLUNTEER BACKSTAGE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE SHOW. Ages 18 and up.
If you signed-up but need to cancel, please do so and free-up that spot for someone else!

Costumes
All cast members should bring their costumes on MONDAY to store in the dressing rooms.
EVERYONE should start wearing the shoes they plan to wear for the show starting Monday (Especially featured dancers/snow chorus)
Double cast actors can start running with costume pieces on Monday.
Everyone will run in full costumes including hair and makeup on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY
Please come to the theater with hair and makeup completed. Parents please don't send makeup with your actor. Those who don't typically wear makeup in their everyday life shouldn't be putting makeup on without guidance.
Health and Hygiene
BACKSTAGE
ONLY those on each nights' signup sheet are allowed backstage. If you are not signed-up, please don’t come backstage. This is for the safety of all. Please make sure your child has all their items before they head backstage.
Behavior
DRESSING ROOMS
No food or drink is allowed in the dressing rooms.
Keep the room neat and tidy so your clothes don’t accidentally get scooped up with someone else’s. Be mindful of what you are picking up, is it all yours?
Use your containers, not the cupboards and drawers in the rooms. We have put hanging racks in each room for your use as well.
No taking pictures or vids in the dressing rooms at all!
COUNCIL ROOM (adjacent to the stage)
DANCE ROOM (Backstage Left) aka our Green Room
ACTIVITIES
Feel free to bring things to do but they must be quiet, not messy (ABSOLUTELY NO markers and NO slime/Playdough, etc.) and nothing you’d be upset by if it gets lost or broken. You are responsible to clean up your items up each night.

CELL PHONES & ELECTRONICS - ARE NOT ALLOWED ONSTAGE!
We will have a container to place them in when you are onstage, so they are kept safe and returned to you after.

Supper Break
There WILL be time to leave the community center and grab supper in-between performances.
Break will be from approximately 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
Cast members who bring their snack or supper are welcome to stay at Warren Community Center. We will be limited to the Auditorium/Backstage part of the center.
We need a couple of parent volunteers to supervise and lead clean-up. Please email [email protected] if you are available.

- SHOW CONDITIONS (The House Is Open) - Be extra quiet anytime you are not singing or saying your lines. Backstage, Dressing Rooms, Hallways, waiting to make your entrance. No visitors are permitted backstage before, during or after the performance.

- Fixer Upper ensemble have an additional shoebox sized container with your name on it for your fixer upper pieces.

- All cast & crew must be kind, courteous, and respectful to each other at all times.
- It can be a long and tiring week. If you are getting frustrated with anything or anyone, take a step back, take a deep breath.
- Please let Stage Management (Andy, Destiany & Katy) if there is an issue.
- Whisper in the green room, be silent on the move and while in Places.
- Lead by example.
- There is no reason to critique or give notes to each other regarding the performances.
- If it is not yours DO NOT TOUCH IT. This goes for Props, Costumes, and anything else in the building.
- Be mindful of your conversation topics and your displays of affection, there are people of ALL ages everywhere.
- FINALLY, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
DRESSING ROOMS
- Dressing rooms are upstairs
- Room B for the gentlemen
- Room C for the ladies.
- There will be a couple of dressing booths in Conference Room A for those who need a little more privacy.

- This is NOT a place to hang out or sit-around in.

- This is where you will spend your offstage time.
- Please always whisper in this room.
- We will have a responsible person at the stage door with a script to call cues for all ensemble numbers.
- If you have your own individual entrances, you are responsible to be where you need to be.
- If you are told that you’re too early or standing in an unsafe spot, please adjust accordingly.
- There are chairs to sit in but feel free to bring your own folding/lawn chairs as well.
- Healthy snacks are allowed but must be non-allergy (NO NUTS) and not melty/messy (chocolate, cheesy) foods.
- Bring water in a covered container with your name or other identifying mark on it (there are no drinking fountains backstage).
- Please place trash in trash cans.
- Do not put bottles with any water in them in the trash cans. Empty them first.
ACTIVITIES
